Bending
GSG Baubeschläge GmbH relies on bending as a central manufacturing process for the production of high-quality fittings. In this process, metal workpieces are precisely formed along defined lines to achieve the desired geometries.
For the efficient production of complex components in large quantities, stamped-bent parts are manufactured using a combination of stamping and bending processes. First, we punch flat metal sheets for the desired inner and outer contours and then bend them into their final shape. For die bending parts, a punched part or laser part is placed on a die with a V-shaped opening and bent into the desired shape by a punch. This die bending process is characterized by high precision and repeat accuracy, which we use for components with specific angles and shapes. Our range of services includes the production of stamped-bent parts and die-bent parts in variable batch sizes - from small batches to large series and assemblies.
With modern automatic punching presses with press forces of up to 1,600 kN and eccentric presses of up to 1,000 kN, we process materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals with material thicknesses of 0.4 to 6 mm. The use of advanced production machines enables us to produce both simple and complex geometries efficiently and with maximum precision. Depending on the requirements, material is fed automatically from the coil or manually by manual insertion on eccentric presses.
Our production has a high degree of process reliability and is geared towards maximum quality, reliability and cost efficiency. As our customer, you benefit from components and fittings that are manufactured on time and at optimized costs. Through continuous quality controls, we ensure that our fittings meet the highest standards and satisfy a wide range of requirements.
